The workshop is designed as a one-day, 8-hour class held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It includes guided instruction, group discussion, reflection exercises, and practical tools you can use beyond the workshop. Upon successful completion, participants receive their certificate the same day.
This workshop is a good fit if you need a structured anger management class for personal growth, a workplace requirement, or a court-related referral. It is designed for adults who are ready to take an honest look at their patterns and build healthier ways to respond in everyday situations.
Participants explore what triggers emotional reactions, learn practical emotional regulation skills, practice healthier communication strategies, work on stress management techniques, and build greater self-awareness and accountability. You will leave with tools you can begin using immediately.
Bring a valid photo ID and any paperwork connected to your requirement. If you are attending due to a court or legal matter, bring the referral documents, court order, or probation paperwork you received. Individual counseling provides private, one-on-one support with a licensed master-level counselor. Sessions are tailored to your specific situation and focus on helping you understand your triggers, improve communication, and build healthier emotional responses over time.
The 8-hour workshop is a structured group class completed in a single day, ideal for those needing a documented program quickly. Individual counseling is a more personalized, ongoing process that allows you to work through deeper patterns and experiences at your own pace in a private setting.
Individual counseling may be especially helpful if you value privacy, are dealing with relationship or workplace stress, feel stuck in reactive patterns that keep showing up in your life, or want to work through underlying causes of anger beyond what a group setting provides.
In some cases, yes. Requirements vary by case, employer, and jurisdiction, so we encourage you to contact our office before booking to discuss your specific situation. Our team can help determine whether individual counseling meets your requirement and advise on what documentation may be available.

A court referral means a judge, attorney, probation officer, or another legal authority has required you to complete an anger management program as part of your case or resolution. The number of required hours varies by case, but many referrals request an 8-hour program. If you are unsure what your referral requires, contact our office and we will help identify the right next step.
Not always. Requirements vary by judge, county, and case type. It is important to review your referral paperwork carefully and confirm exactly what your court requires before booking. If you have questions about whether our programs meet your specific requirement, contact our office before registering.
No — these are two separate programs. In certain domestic violence cases, a court may require a Batterers' Intervention Program (BIP), which is a separate 29-week program. If your case involves domestic violence, please confirm with your attorney or probation officer whether the court ordered BIP specifically rather than general anger management before booking.
Bring your court order, referral documents, case information, and a valid photo ID. If you have a specific form your attorney, probation officer, or judge needs completed, bring that as well.
Yes. Documentation may include a certificate of completion, proof of attendance, and signed completion paperwork depending on the service and your specific requirement. If you need paperwork for court, probation, an employer, or an attorney, please contact our office before booking so we can confirm exactly what will be provided.
